One of the biggest concerns with building in the Winter is the quality of the foundation. With traditional pan forms which get stripped away the next day after the pour, there is nothing to protect the water from freezing in the concrete which then causes cracking and weakens the concrete. With the insulated concrete forms, the heat from the concrete stays in the form and prevents the moisture from freezing. This provides you with a much stronger foundation even if we are pouring in temperatures below freezing because our insulated forms are never removed.
